Oh my God....help me.
This class has to be one of the worst classes I have ever taken... We don't DO ART! Its just these complicated readings fron this stupid paper text book thing... and just crap. No, its not an art history class either! (I like art history.)
I can't understand my teacher, her accent is really thick, in fact, NO ONE ELSE can understand her either! Don't get me wrong, she's a sweet lady and everything, its just so hard.
I really am tired...so tired of it. When I am in the class, I feel so angry. So deprived.
I'm not learning anything from this class, not learning how to improve techniqually as an artist or philosopically as an artist.
Last year I was in AP art, and now I have to be in this BULLSHIT class, which deprives and belittles something of what gives me joy. What gives me a way to heal and express my self...
It makes me go crazy inside. It seems like the music students are more privlidged and stuff, they get to do alot of music! Why can't art students do the same? IS MUSIC THE MOST "HOLY" WAY TO WORSHIP GOD?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE RIGHT WAY?! THE ONLY WAY??!!! WHAT IS IT?!!
It really pisses me off!!!!
I LOVE music! So much! Music is an art! But its not the only type! There poetry, literature, sculpture, drawing, painting, ceramics, photography, and alot more!
Yea, I'm going to express my anger and frustration by writting, because I also like to write and thats a more easier way for me to let it all out rather than talking!!
But, at least they havent taken away my sketchbook...and at least next semester, I can take a drawing class. I just have to be patient. But..I dont know how long..
I love Calvin everyone, please dont get the wrong idea. Calvin was the only school I applied too, and it is the perfect place for me... <3 It's special to me! Its just this issue that is super frustrating to me.
